ANC-regime needs to take notice – The cost of violent protests has spiked 100 fold in a decade

The number – and size – of insurance claims filed with state-owned political risk insurer Sasria (the South African Special Risks Insurance Association) show just how much violent protests are costing South Africa.

In 2007, after nearly four years of economic growth of over 5%, Sasria received 540 claims worth R14 million for damage as a result of violent protests. Most of those claims were related to labour action.

By 2018 the number of claims had spiked more than 10 times, to 5,543 claims. But the increase in the value of the claims was a hundredfold, to R1.4 billion. Most of those claims were related to service-delivery protests, pointing to a failure of local government.

Protests and road closures have become a daily occurrence across South Africa as marginalised communities take to the street in the belief that they only get noticed when causing damage to public and private property.

ANC piggy bank is empty – ANC regime owes municipalities R165 billion

After a thorough investigation, it was found that the treasury of South Africa’s is indeed empty for a long time. It has been discovered that the state’s owes amount municipalities approximately R165 billion.

To make matters worse, it must be taken into account that the amount is valid for up to the end of June this year.

Economic advisers, on the one hand, explain why the municipalities cannot pay their Eskom and water bills.

Opinion polls say municipalities have the full right to cut off state power at the local municipal level.

Salga confirmed that municipalities owe Eskom about R25 billion, plus R15 billion in water consumed.

Junk Status looms – Implementation of NHI will have disastrous consequences for SA economy

AfriForum today sent a letter to President Cyril Ramaphosa, Finance Minister Tito Mboweni and Minister of Health Zweli Mkhize warning the civil rights organization that the implementation of national health insurance (NHI) could eventually lead to the downgrading of the country’s credit rating to junk status .

This comes after the credit rating agency Moody’s recently downgraded South Africa’s credit rating from a stable to a negative outlook. The reason for this downgrade according to Mood is the bleak growth prospects and growing public debt. In its letter, AfriForum argues that unaffordable, ideological policies such as the NHI will lead to South Africa being downgraded to junk status, as the country simply cannot fund it.

South African Army has also run out of money – this is how much trouble SANDF is in

South Africa’s National Defence Force (SANDF) is in a dire financial state, and with no promise of future funding, things may still get worse.

Answering in a recent parliamentary Q&A session minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, said that current plans to get the SANDF back on track are entirely dependent on its funding.

“The prevention of the SANDF capabilities from declining further is entirely dependent on the budget allocation of the Defence Force, which has been decreasing at an alarming rate over the years with a negative impact of the entire capabilities,” she said.

“The Defence Review 2015 has been developed with a plan to arrest the decline of the SANDF but unfortunately no funding has been received to attend to the declining capabilities of the SANDF.”

Mapisa-Nqakula added that the years-long decline of the SANDF meant that it was becoming increasingly difficult to protect the country.

ANC regime threatens financial survival of SA, Government debt increases every day

The ANC government is extremely dangerous and threatens the financial survival of South Africa, as its eagerness to lend remains unsaturated.

This is the opinion of an economic adviser following the SA Reserve Bank’s announcement that government debt is rising faster than provided by any institution.

The government’s total loan debt has risen to a breathtaking level of just over 58% of the annual budget.

Experts point out that South Africa has now reached the point where Moody’s can no longer turn its head, and even if that were to happen, it is an undeniable reality that the country has landed deep into the abyss of being subjected to junk status, and may not be coming out of it again soon.

Rotten ANC-regime gives valuable Sandton land to Gupta’s, steals Alexandra renewal money

How is it possible that this rotten ANC organization, which has proven over and over that it is nothing more than an organized criminal cartel, fool the people of South Africa for so long? In another massive scandal it has come to light that the land on which the Sandton Gautrain station is built and the space above it that is earmarked for development was raked in by the Gupta front company ‘Regiments Capital’ totally for free.

This massive scandal dates back to the days when the ANC still ruled Johannesburg. It came to light by chance when the water supply was cut off to the Gautrain station because the property taxes were not paid. The 3 hectare land of the Gautrain station belongs to Cedar Park 39 Pty Ltd, which is part of the Regiments group. Regiments was used by the Guptas to render fictitious so called consultancy services to State Owned Enterprises like Eskom, Transnet and South African Airways.

Political analysts say that conditions in South Africa are now deteriorating by the day, and the bad conditions are now putting residents at the same level as in Zimbabwe.

The police service that has lost thousands of rounds of ammunition without any action being taken against the culprits indicates the dire security situation that prevails.

The government’s grand move to have “progressed” matric pupils write their exams over two years has bombed – only 8% passed

The results of these pupils, who were pushed into matric after failing grade 11 more than once, were disclosed to the Sunday Times by the department of basic education last week.

SA’s latest matric pass rate is 8%. It was achieved by “progressed” pupils — those pushed into grade 12 after failing grade 11 more than once — and who were given two years to write matric.

Of the 78,363 of these pupils who wrote their final school exams in November and June, 6,320 passed.

Education experts who spoke to the Sunday Times this week said the pupils had been set up for failure because the plan was based on an incorrect assumption that a lowered workload would lead to better results.

The ANC regime has South Africa’s people in a huge dilemma with its National Health Plan.

Foreign media reports that a government spokesman said the plan would be implemented gradually, but that would depend on the economic growth achieved.

Experts point out that the country will not show any significant growth in the next five years, with the massive unemployment still rising.

The plan is believed to be “rolled out” in phases as economic growth improves, but experts point out that nothing has been said about what will happen if the economy recedes further.

Opinionists believe this will mean that the tax assessment could increase dramatically, and ultimately the entire Plan fails.
